An AI just replaced ~3 weeks of my work in 2 hours.
I'm building a platform (aivis.ro) for photo restoration, AI cartoons, and video generation.
I realized users should also be able to order printed versions of their generated images with:
- checkout & payments
- admin dashboard
- order management
- email confirmations
- pricing & status tracking
- Basically, a full e-commerce system.
The AI Solution
So I asked Claude to design and scaffold the entire solution.
It delivered a complete implementation plan + structure in a couple of hours (spread out because I hit usage limits).
Manually, this would've taken me weeks.
The Reality Check
Yes, the code still needs review, some unit tests, plus some polishing.
But the productivity jump is unreal.
We're quickly moving from "AI helps you code" to "AI helps you build products."
The Question
Curious: how much of your current workload do you think AI could realistically remove in 2026?
The gap between planning and implementation is shrinking rapidly. What used to take weeks of architectural planning, database design, API structure, and scaffolding now takes hours. AI doesn't just write code—it understands product requirements and translates them into complete system architectures.
This isn't about replacing developers. It's about amplifying our ability to move from idea to implementation at unprecedented speed.
